Saying he was in no hurry to see Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders end his campaign,Real Time host Bill Maher complimented the avowed democratic socialist for giving voice to a deep vein of passionate progressives who have felt left out of the political process.

Former Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello jumped in to point out how well a socialist did in the primary elections.
“People complained the other night that Bernie didn’t mention the sort of historic moment of Hillary Clinton being the nominee,” Morello began. “But Hillary Clinton did not mention the historic moment of a socialist, in the United States of America, winning twenty-two states — in the United States of America.”
According to Maher, ‘I also think he could have won too.”
